Terms & Conditions
1. Services
Make Boring Things provides digital operations services including websites, lead funnels, AI voice receptionists, CRM/booking systems, SEO, and review collection for local service businesses. Service scope, pricing, and deliverables are outlined in individual service agreements.
2. Payments & Subscriptions
Monthly subscription services are billed in advance. Setup fees are due before work begins. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your service agreement.
3. No Guarantee of Results
While we apply proven systems and strategies, we make no guarantee of specific outcomes such as lead volume, revenue, or rankings. Results depend on factors outside our control including market conditions, your business operations, and ad spend.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate business information, timely feedback, and any necessary access (e.g., Google Business, website credentials) required to deliver services.
5. Intellectual Property
All systems, templates, and frameworks developed by Make Boring Things remain our intellectual property. Custom deliverables built for your business become yours upon full payment.
6. Limitation of Liability
Make Boring Things is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid in the 30 days prior to any claim.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate a monthly subscription with 30 days' written notice. Setup fees and any work already delivered are non-refundable.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in Tarrant County, Texas.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
